Media Center

IDs:  

  • IDs are required to be worn to school daily.
  • Forgot or lost your ID?  You may purchase one in the library daily from 7:05-7:20.  We accept cash or show a receipt of payment. Payments can be made anytime on http://schoolcashonline.com.  If a purchase is made BEFORE B lunch is over, an ID will be delivered to the student in class during 4th block.  Any ID dress code violation during the day will be erased as long as a replacement was purchased before B lunch.  We also sell temporary sticker IDs that are sold in the library only from 7:05-7:20.
  • Cost:  $4.00 for replacement ID,  $1.00 for lanyard ,  $1.00 fortemporary ID

Laptop Issues:

  • If you are having trouble with your laptop or charger please let us know in the library.  
  • If you have damage to your device such as missing key, damaged screen, or damaged shell, proof of insurance is required before a replacement is given. Insurance does not cover lost or stolen items.  Insurance covers accidental damage.  The cost for insurance is $10 and can be found on http://schoolcashonline.com called maintenance subscription.
  • Lost or stolen chargers are $40 and can also be paid on http://schoolcashonline.com.  Broken chargers may be swapped for a different one as long as the broken one is returned.

Library books:

  • Students may visit the library before school, at lunch, or during class (with teacher approval) to check out books.  We have a large selection of ficiton books in various genres, many biographies of famous people from the past and current, nonficiton books on multiple topics of intrest, graphic novels, and test prep.  
  • Books are normally checked out for two weeks but may be renewed for longer.
  • Books not returned to the library must be paid for.  
  • Damaged books will be issued a fine. 

Textbooks:

  • Students may check out textbooks for the semester if we have copies available. 

Other Library Information:

  • Students may also visit the library to read a magazine, do a puzzle, color, complete a word search, print a document, read the newspaper, study, do homework, or play a card game. All of these items are not available for checkout and must stay in the library.
